5 Random thoughts on the brain

1. I just spent the last 15 minutes searching Mickelle's blog because I swear there is a picture of Revan that flashed in my mind when I saw a smiley picture I took of Owen yesterday. Can't find it but I really see the Wilson gene in them. Random, remember.

2. I haven't posted much about the last 6 months because I am not really an open person, especially on a blog, but sometimes its good to get it off one's chest and my journal is packed away somewhere. But can I just say, I really hated living in a stinky old house in the boonies with an old lady. Yes, it was my idea but lets just say I about cry whenever I think about it. It has been so much better hanging at mom and dad's for the last few weeks. way nice. But, we are ready for our own space and I am so greatful that Heavenly Father has helped us know what to do next. Kent wasn't going to attend CWI until the fall but I just started thinking and making calls and now we are going to Caldwell early and I just know He has had a hand in all our decision making. So I just want to say that all of us have our trials and the light IS at the end of the tunnel. I am still scared that things could fall apart any minute but I am trying hard to have more FAITH. And I am really proud of Kent and his willingness to go back to school for nursing. It won't be easy but we feel it will be worth it.

3. Most of the time I don't notice it because I am with him every day but, Owen is growing up! Last night we were at the restaurant and Owen sat in a booster chair (which I was bugged about because I didn't want him climbing on the table and hanging on me) and he was so good. Kent gave him a crayon and showed him how to color and he did that off and on and didn't loose interest. He sat still and ate rolls and french fries. At the end he peeked over the edge and smiled at some other kids. He didn't fuss once. It was so so cute; he looked so grown up.

4. Kent has a low tolerance for crying and sometimes Owen drives him crazy but I have noticed thier special bond more and more. Owen always wants to go see or sit by Kent when he is studying or reloading. Owen and Kent have a special handshake. They high five, then pound it, then touch finger-to-finger (like ET). It is adorable. And this last month Owen has let Kent cuddle him to sleep. SO adorable.

5. I am going to make a really, really big effort to go to the Wilson reunion this year. I love glimpsing everyone's lives through blogs but I want to see all the cousins and aunts in person. SO. Doesn't everyone else want to make a pact with me to try really hard and attend? :)

good random thoughts.
I can picture you searching through Mickelle's blog, quite funny.
Glad you realize you need to have faith because that is what will get you through and hold you together. You are awesome.
Owen is so mature! Jaeger doesn't even do that good in restaurants. He makes a mess (so I am sure people hate us when we leave) and he is always standing up and I hardly get to eat normal. fyi
Lance can't handle crying either. Neither can I but when Lance doesn't I sometimes fly off the handle and things go to pieces. So I feel ya. That's cute that he wants to be close to Kent.
I don't think I will be in on the pact but I agree and I wish. I don't like to travel by myself and Lance can't go with me so it's not too appealing just yet. The blog pacify me pretty well. Not all the way though.

I feel so out of the loop with your life. I didn't know you where living with an old person? I'm so confused.

I didn't realize you where moving to Caldwell either. Crazy. Maybe I will see you more often....if ever.

I totally love your blog. It's so much fun. Owen really is getting SO BIG ad grown up. Wyatt is too. I really wish he would walk though. It's driving me crazy that he isn't motivated at all. urgh.

I'm excited for your new adventure. Good luck. so there is a picture you have posted of Owen that totally looks like a picture I have seen of you as a baby. He's a cute little guy! I'm glad you have this blog so that I can be in the know about your life, otherwise I'd have absolutely no connection.

aww what a fun post! I can relate with the faith thing. Trenton and I have gotten in the habit of syaing "Well it will work out, it always does." and that really helps us push along. Sounds like you have a great new chapter ahead of you!
That handshake is the most adorable thing I've ever heard of! What a special thing - the father and son bond... I see it already too.

And YES! It's easier for us to attend the Wilson reunions because we are so close, although I heard rumors of it being somewhere else to accommodate everyone. Who knows... but even more than attending lets promise to actually talk... I remember wanting to chat with you girls at Maria's wedding but being too shy... internet is easy to be friendly on but in person its more of a challenge for me. So you show up and I'll talk! haha
