I would like to bring to your attention. . .

1- The fact that I would really like to see more pictures from TeElle and hear how she is doing. I would say Mickelle too, but she posted recently after a long break and I am glad :)
2- I would like to be connected to Dannon and Corrie's blogs, but what if they don't even know that I blog stalk them? :)
3- How come Maria and Diana have logins but not blogs? I know it's a time issue but I would love to hear from them. I am setting up a blog for my mom on Sunday and I know it would motivate her more if they were a part of the mix too!
4-I really like Kristi's scrapbook pages and want to know how she posted them so I can post mine too!
5- And if Brenna reads this post, I would love to see more of your quilt, your house, and your bargains! :)

Don't you agree?

And then, just for fun, Owen and last weeks buggery nose!

Summer!! Oh, Summer!!

I love love baby shoes! Kent reminds me often that Owen doesn't walk and therefore doesn't need shoes. But, I can't help it!! These look sooooo cute on him (and for $3 I had to!)
Happy to be going outdoors, I'm sure. Such a daddy's boy in that way! Seven months today!

This is my haul from bountifulbaskets.org! Every Saturday trucks come up from Arizona and stop at tons of cities to offer produce at wholesale costs. It is a non-profit group of ladies that run it and they promise half fruits and half vegetables for $15 a basket. (I usually split it with someone) Yummy! Wish it were in the Boise area :(

I also purchased the Mexican packet so I can make yummy guacamole and maybe some fresh salsa! I guess since I can't have a garden this is the next best thing. Wait. It's better, no weeding.

A little slice of stringham life

Okay, so yesterday I gave Owen one of those biter biscuits because Kelsey said Jaeger gummed on one and made a mess (which is cute and entertaining I'm sure) and because Kent's aunt gave Owen a graham cracker and he liked it. Then, I look away for like two seconds and the child is gagging because he tried to stuff the whole entire biscuit in his mouth! I pick him up and start patting his back and out comes milk from his nose and mouth and a hunk of biscuit. Yeah so he barfed cause he gagged. Scare me to death! Guess we won't try that again for a while!

Also yesterday we went to dinner and a movie, so nice! Gotta love date nights out on the town instead of driving each other crazy in the house. Kent fished while Owen and I chilled in the car then we stepped outside to see the fish jump and hear the water roar over the fall, Owen was fascinated. Then we drove down the road to our favorite little diner, Frostop, and had burgers, fries, and the best root beer ever! Everyone googled over our adorable and smiley baby (including Kent). Then later Kayla and Aaron, our lifesavers, watched Owen and we went and saw Avatar. We really liked it and then it was so funny because Kent went home and googled it to see if the guy really was in a wheelchair and then he watched the trailer 3 times. haha

Then on Monday, my friend Amanda came over and we figured out my sewing machine and I started sewing my skirt and the thing runs as smooth as anything and the stitches look so great! Only problem is my waist is bigger than my hips (or so it seems, sad day) and the dress sides poke way out, so I will have to taylor it down.

The weekend was great, Kent's parents and his sister Kami (who graduated also) came to Rexburg and we hung out and talked Thursday night. Then Friday while all the boys went shooting, the girls went to town to window shop then we all met up to eat graduation celebration dinner together. Saturday we had to be to the gym at 8 a.m. and it was a long sit during the commencement speakers. Then Kami's convocation was next (Kent decided not to walk because it was at the same time as Kami's) and by this time Owen had fallen asleep in Grandpa's arms, so cute. At the end when everyone clapped it startled Owen so bad from his sleep, oh man. Then we went to the BYUI sign and took turns wearing the grad cap for pictures. Then , then we beat the crowds by heading to IF to eat dinner at the buffet and crash back at aunt Susan's to watch a movie and nap. Fun, fun

Well, next up is Kraig and Becca's wedding on the 17th, not looking forward to driving all day Friday and then turn around and drive all day Sunday. But, I AM looking forward to being in the Columbia River Temple and witnessing the ceremony! Also looking forward to seeing the Peterson family!

What I Think are Helpful Hints

Hint #1 - I always check my email in the morning and now I get notified when a new comment is posted on the blog. This is especially nice when people comment on an older post (Like Kaycee did on last months post; You are so welcome Kaycee!!). Here is how to set it up.

Go to the Dashboard. Of the 4 top tabs click on Settings.

Then click the forth tab called Comments.

Scroll down to the bottom and find Comment Notification Email. Enter in your email address and click save.

Hint #2 - Protect your pictures on Facebook! All my pics were open to everyone and I changed it to friends only. I found a tutorial video ( the guys voice is annoying but oh well) here.

Hint #3 FREE web filter (remember my purse tag with the K-9 instructions? yeah) here. I liked the suggestion our bishop gave to create a password where the wife knows the first few characters and the husband knows the last few characters, that way you both decide whether to allow a site.
