Heise Fun

Kent, Kraig and Becca wanted to float the river, so Owen and I watched.
Then Kent gave Owen a little ride. This tube had a rope that Kent pulled Owen back and forth with. He loved it! (flash off)
Don't worry, the water was really shallow. But, I still freaked out and said, " K, he's done."
Last days of summer!

11 months old!!!

I think Owen has Albert Einstein hair. But he pulls it off way better!
Little Squirt is 11 months old today and I am already planning his birthday party! I imagine cupcakes with piles of creamy buttercream frosting in colorful silicon liners with animal picks and a big number ONE for Owen's delicious cupcake. mmmmm....
In other news, Owen had his 6th ear infection at Lance and Kelsey's house. I took him to his follow-up appointment yesterday and Dr. Z put Owen on a low dose of antibiotics to prevent more infections. Half a teaspoon everyday for the next three months--here we go. I guess tubes are a big procedure and the doctor wants to try medicine first.
He weighs 20 lbs. even and I think he measured at 28"
At ten months he got his first tooth on the bottom and his gums look pretty swollen, so I am sure more will pop out any time!

Waving and kisses

Clara, the lady we take care of actually taught Owen to wave. I feel silly I never thought of it. And in the movie he is making kissing noises but you can't see his lips or really hear. Because, I took it with the sunlight pouring in and ruining the video. But then he wouldn't do it again, so this is all you get.

Neah Bay 2010

I borrowed photos from this lovely girl, Bec, my sister-in-law. Her pictures make me jealous, but Owen had an ear infection at the beginning of the trip. So it is best that he and I crashed at Kelsey's in Nyssa while Kent camped and ocean fished with his family.
The boat at the dock with the days catch.

Bryant, Kent, and Kraig filleting out the fish on the dock. Kent is a pro.
Kent says he and his family have gone to the coast, Neah Bay, Washington, every year since he was ten. They go to catch halibut and salmon as well as lingcod (pictured) and rockfish.

One of the gorgeous but cold beaches. Love this pic with the big fishing boat and sunset.

The waves a crashin'.

Kent and Kraig on the beach with a kite.

The girls discovering a washed over sand mermaid.
Fun. And now we have a freezer full of fish. Nice.
Oh, and I posted some pics below of when I went on the trip two years ago.

Aunt Kelsey is the best!!

8 and 2 half days, 10 days, a third of the month, two weekends, how ever I say it, I am just glad that Kels and Lancey let Owen and I crash at her pad for a long time while Kent went ocean fishing with his fam. Jaeger is amazing and growing, talking, moving at an amazing rate. For Owen, I just followed Kelsey's schedule and now Owen takes two naps, goes to bed at 9:00, takes a bottle, will sit to be read to, and crawls normal half the time. Yep, this visit was just perfect!

Kent's Parents on the boat.
Gorgeous hike.
Bushman family friends, of whom I stole these pictures from ;)
More hiking for the girls.
