Celebrated New Years with the Barnes and Stewart clans.

This is Owen and Mickelle, Kayla's niece. Owen got this tent as a late Christmas present and all the kids had fun with it after delicious food and games.

Owen and Jonah, who are pretty close in age.

Owen and Kassidy. We only stayed up until 9:30 and it was much better that way!

Mother to This Sweetie-Poo

What a Happy Mother's Day weekend we had. Friday I got a new vacumn and Kent vacumned the living room and it filled clear up, it was so nasty! I am suprised I haven't been attacked by allergies. Saturday, Kent did his happy rock chuck hunting and fried his skin. He loved it though. Owen and I visited Grandma and the aunties. I also got to see my friend, CaraJo, while she was here for Mother's Day. Cara and Trent now have a humongous Great Dane that gave Owen a little ride (wish I had the pics from phone). This enormous but lean dog was boppin around the flower shop, but the owner, Carla (Cara's mom) just told me not to worry cause he is a gentle giant. Fun. Kent suprised me with flowers, chocolate, and a wonderful note. Then we made ribs and corn on the cob. Finished the day off with friends and a movie. At church, the men sang a primary song that went something like, tralala la la la lala and we sing as we go. IT WAS hilarious and I don't think that was what they were going for. Cute. Then on Sunday, ate dinner at my parent's house and gave my mommy a little gift cause she is absolutely WONDERFUL and I love her. Kent and I also took the girls to Cress Creek to enjoy the weather and the trail. Finally ended the day with some watermelon, Owen too.

Our Eventful Fourth.

Kent and I celebrated the 4th of July by spending the day at Yellowstone National Park. This picture is of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone; really it was very, very deep and it was breathtaking!

Just our luck we saw these three black bears only 4o yards away! They were very playful and I loved thier brown noses.

Can't forget the buffalo of Yellowstone, this big bull was actually quite close to us as well.

A herd of elk cows and thier calves were in a part of the park called Mammoth. Kent said that every year his family has gone to Yellowstone they have seen elk in this yard.

We had a picnic for lunch and then later went into the town of West Yellowstone to eat some good old barb-que pork sandwiches. Then we headed to Freeman Park in Idaho Falls to watch the freedom celebration fireworks with Kent's aunt and uncle.

About forty minutes of non-stop fireworks are shot up across the Snake River in sync to festive fourth of July music. Very fun, even though traffic is a nightmare afterwards as everyone in Idaho tries to leave and get on the freeway.

First on Saturday we went to the Barnes Family Crab Crack and all nine of my Dad's brothers and sisters were there with most of thier kids (We really missed Kim, Kaycee, Kelsey, and Lance) Then Kent and I went to Henry's Lake to fish and camp for the night, it was great!
