Summer Saturday

Miss Kamilla invited myself, Kelsey and Krystal to a littl' crafty, treaty, lunchy day while our husbands golfed in the "Bell Open."

Stripe party.

Luscious Lunchat the Bell's. While the boys golfed we made snazzy wreaths with our glue guns and cake liners!

Here they are showing off our handiwork!

Kason, Krystal and cutey Paige came up from Utah. Kason is my uncle.

Kamilla is my aunt! Fun, right!

Wyatt was sleeping, but they are all close in age and had fun together!

Then Kelsey and I ran to our spa appointment, so fun to have someone to go with and talk about things with. I am so glad to live close by Kelsey. She is such a wonderful friend and helps me so much. She is gorgeous and that is why I can post this silly picture of her!

I asked Kelsey to be my head model for some of my silk flower headbands cause of her luscious new hair color! And her pretty eyelashes! Fun time. Fun day!

Finally, right!

Getting Crafty! Loving the red and turquoise combination and planning to hang this in my kitchen! Gotta love modge podge....
Kortney and Kara's new skirts I made with the stretch elastic waist. They picked the fabrics and tulle...very fun to make. I also made all my Stringham sister-in-laws a skirt-they turned out nice.
Yes, that is Owen resting his head on the stairs, I think he wanted picked up by his dad...
Cutey-patootie in his new church clothes from Grandma and Grandpa.
Really Mom? Do I have to take MORE pictures?

Owen is walking really well now and he almost has both eye teeth. He loves to give kisses to EVERYONE and say puppy and kitty. He throws tantrums and puts both hands on his head when he is embarrased/shy. He also covers his mouth with one hand when he is upset. In short he is the best!!
Owen walks alot more than this wobbly two step, but of course I can't catch it on camera... And please, please don't mind my goobery voice, ugh.

Grandpa and Grandma's House

Owen actually had his head up against my dad's head and my mom said "hurry take a picture" but my dad pulled away. haha. Here he is getting tickled.
Owen loves Grandma and she really wanted him to feel the sensory blanket that Kelsey and I made. He hugged it! Kelsey and I each have one, but I will wait till she posts pics before we show you how it turned out completely. So fun! (Yes, in the background, Katelin has a cast on her arm. . . skating.)

This is my next project :) Think spring.

Exciting News!

I have really felt in the mood to get posting and recording what is happening in our lives. First off, yes we are expecting a baby October 2nd and I look forward to taking a gazillion photos of a wiggly smiley baby and recording it on this blog!

Also Kent has decided on pursuing the nursing program after he graduates with a bachelors in Health Science (two more semesters) and we have been looking into those programs. We will start that program probably in Fall of 2010. We are leaning towards Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston. Nothing official but at least I can record the decision making process. Next, I am officially enrolled in the medical transcription program!!! I will graduate from BYU-I with my bachelors in University Studies (minor in English) and then end my education with the four-month online training that it takes to become certified in recording and formating doctor's visits into records for the hospital. The program will probably take me the rest of the summer though as I can set my own pace in studying and working part-time. I'm excited. Finally, I am sooooo excited for my sister and brother-in-law, Kelsey and Lance who will be expecting a baby in October! I think I have baby fever and am just so excited to see Kelsey's pregnant pictures and to see their baby!

Wednesday I was able to go to dinner with my sisters Kimberly and Kaycee and Kim got to see our apartment (she just got back from her mission in Canada). It was so fun having girl talk again (boys, work, boys, funny stories, boys), my sisters are so cute.
